The Local Shakedown depends on your submissions to make this radio show happen! We do listen to EVERYTHING we get and very much appreciate the time it takes to send us your music. Thank you!!!

To submit your music to the radio show please follow these suggestions and general guidelines:

• You must be a Colorado band or musician.
• Send all music on CD or vinyl.
• Include basic info about your submission or band (location, band name, track listing, etc.). Promo paks, glossy paper, and band photos are unnessesary - save a tree or two.
• We accept demos, singles, 7-inches, EPs and full-lengths. Please do not send us live recordings, especially if it is your first time submitting to the show.
• DO NOT send us paper tickets to a show. Ticket giveaways are set up through Radio 1190's Promotions Dept. by the venue or booking agent and are all guest list spots.

SUBMITTING MUSIC TO THE RADIO SHOW DOES NOT GUARENTEE AIRPLAY. All entries are subject to a formal review process that is subjective and adheres to the music format and guidelines set forth by Radio 1190.

Due to high amount of submissions, we can not respond to each person or band. If you have specific questions it's best to email us and we'll try our best to answer. Please do not call during the show to ask about a music submission - it is very difficult to talk while doing the show. As a general rule, if your CD is accepted, you'll hear it on the show. Some things take longer than others. All reviews are done on a volunteer basis so we can not predict timelines.
